Fellow comedians come together to help comedian Max Alexander who recently had a kidney transplant. Proceeds will help Max with his soaring health care costs.
For the past four years, Max had been fighting with Chronic Kidney Disease, but eventually received a transplant from his brother Rabbi Moshe Drelich. Max's kidney failure and subsequent slight stroke following the surgery, have ravaged his finances as he is no longer able to work and now left with mounting bills.
COMEDIANS: Shelley Berman, Elayne Boosler, Norm Crosby, Jeff Garlin, Dom Irrera, Kevin James, Carol Leifer, Jay Leno, Larry Miller, Kevin Nealon, Ray Romano and Fred Willard plus special guests.

We know Jeffrey Toobin from his contributions as Legal Correspondant for The New Yorker, as well as his regular appearances on MSNBC and other news outlets. We also know Toobin from his articles and books on the 2000 election, specifically his great book, "Too Close To Call: The Thirty Six Day Battle To Decide the 2000 Election." Jeffrey Toobin's recent book, "The Nine, Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court," reads more like a novel (a great compliment from us at Writers Bloc) than an account of the men and women who serve on the Supreme Court. Toobin examines the Court from the Reagan administration to the present—and concludes that much more than extensive understanding of the law really decides the outcomes of the cases in front of the court. Barry Siegel, who won a Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing for the Los Angeles Times, has written novels and nonfiction books that pertain to the Court, and to justice. His recent book, "Claim of Privilege," is a work of nonfiction that reads like a thriller. It concerns a case involving a 1948 Air Force plane crash, a law suit that reaches the United States Supreme Court, and secrets harbored by the government for over fifty years.
